Magnetic Pickup

Sooner or later we all drop a container of nuts, bolts or clips and they scatter over the floor. I reach for a strong magnet, salvaged from an old stereo speaker, wrap the magnet in a piece of cloth and suck up the parts. Why the cloth? Once you?ve retrieved the evil pieces from the floor, unwrap the cloth from the magnet and it forms a sack around the parts. That quickly removes the parts from the magnet and gives you an efficient way to return them to their original container.
